We are a family-owned business that is extremely passionate about cooking authentic, simple, and delicious Vietnamese food. We specialize in Vietnamese Bánh Mì (sandwiches) and offer a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes based on our family recipes that have been passed down for generations. Currently, BANHMIZON operates as a FOOD TRUCK business, catering throughout the San Francisco and Bay Area.
Established in late 2015, Banh Mi Zon became public with the aspiration of presenting people with a very fresh and healthy style of Asian Cuisine. Since then, we have developed and achieved successful recognition with regular customers in locations such as the Bon Air Center, Biomarin (300 guests event), Facebook Head Office in Paulo Alto (2500 guests), and the Annual Art and Wine Festival in San Anselmo (10,000 guest)… After two years in operations, we are very happy to roll out the second truck in 2017, first restaurant at 76 San Pablo Ave, San Rafael CA 94093.

BANH MI ZON was founded by a couple that believes food is passion, fresh and healthy food plays a very big part of overall health. We've been making and enjoying the benefits of fresh and traditional for the past many years and we're happy to be able to bring Vietnamese Traditional food straight to your front door by a food truck.

Hong Phan Co-founder/CEO
With a background in MBA hospitality, Hong Phan has always loved cooking food. More than 10 years experience restoration in Switzerland and Vietnam, she travels around the World to learn about culture cuisine and now it is the time to have her own business. Her passion grows with each person who is healed through Banh Mi Zon.
L.Nguyen has spent most of his adult life working for startups and developer. With a background in MBA of business administration but he has a love for art and fashion, he worked for Christian Louboutin (French fashion shoe company) as a brand manager in 5 years, it was only a matter of time before he started something of his own. Banh Mi Zon is his harmony between art and food.
